Mike Coronel – Music Instructor & Multi-Instrumentalist

With over 30 years of experience in the music industry, Mike Coronel is a versatile musician, educator, and composer. His musical journey began in 1994, and since then, he has dedicated his life to mastering and sharing his passion for music.

Mike honed his craft at the Conservatory of Music at the Philippine University in 1995, where he built a strong foundation in music theory and performance. From 1996 to 2001, he taught electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and drums at the Yamaha School of Music in the Philippines, inspiring countless aspiring musicians.

Currently, Mike continues to share his expertise as a guitar and drums, Piano instructor in Alberta, Canada (2023), offering lessons tailored to both beginners and advanced students.

Beyond teaching, Mike Coronel is a dynamic session musician and performer. He has played lead vocals, guitar, and piano for rock bands and also serves as a drummer in an acoustic trio band. His performances have taken him across Vietnam, with appearances in cities like Da Nang, Mui Ne, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Mike’s talents extend to composition, arranging, and production. As a composer and sound designer, he has worked on video productions, including projects showcased on Netflix, where he created background music and sound effects for various movies. He is also active in producing and recording bands, with several works published on Spotify.
